April Favourites

Sunday 14 May 2017

Another month, another favourites post! I can't not do one as I'm so spendy I always seem to find something new to love every month. Which has also now ended in me putting myself on a spending ban because I have no self control where beauty products are concerned. Not only did I find new things in stores that I love, I was lucky enough to be sent a couple of items that made my list too.

Once again its a little mix of products, from sleep masks to foundation but they are all so good in their own little ways. So here's my April Favourites round up;

• Urban Decay - All Nighter Foundation I always find foundations an absolute ball ache for me because I'm SO pale, and very rarely do I actually find a nice full coverage foundation in my colour. I was looking for a new foundation for a while, I popped into my local counter and was given a two week sample, soon as that ran out I went straight out to purchase it. It's a matte finish, oil free with an insane amount of pigment, three times as much as Naked Skin. It's waterproof, no need to build up coverage and also blurs flaws. Did I just find my Holy Grail?!

 Garnier SkinActive - Moisture Bomb Super-Hydrating Soothing Tissue Mask When the first moisture bomb tissue mask came out I was straight on it. I then found my self in superdrugs looking at a range of 3 different ones to choose from, I didn't just choose one, I got myself one of each. The Soothing tissue mask is by far my favourite out of the collection. My work environment really does dry my skin out, I also suffer with mild acne which means my skin can become sore at times. This tissue mask is for sensitive skin and nothing helps to comfort skin like chamomile. Added to my will buy again list.

*Spacemasks - Heated Eyemask After seeing Spacemasks all over Instagram I had the opportunity to try one out. I didn't honestly know what to expect from a heated eyemask, but it turned out to be good things. I used mine after a 13 hour shift at work and coming home with a bit of a groggy head, I find it so hard to switch off from work/life sometimes and struggle to sleep, add in a headache and its a pain. The eyemask gently heats up ever so slightly and lasts around 15 minutes, just enough time to help you switch off and get a more relaxed sleep.

 Pixi - Glow Mist  I mean, who isn't loving Pixi beauty at the moment? All the mists are making their way around social media and lucky for me, the glow mist made it to my collection. You can use this mist in so many different ways which means you most definitely get your monies worth. You give it a little shake and mist over your face AM & PM. You can use it to hydrate your skin and to help get that glowing, luminous smooth complexion. You can use it as a setting spray or even take it out and about with you to refresh your make up and help add a dewy finish.

 *Ropelet - Leather hand made braid  Ropelet are a company based in the same town as me, when they offered to send me one to see if I like them I jumped at the chance. They are all hand made and have a big variety of styles. I have the black leather braided one and it suits me perfectly, I can't wear dainty bracelets as I break them all the time, this one sits perfectly with my medical alert band and I'm pretty sure I won't be breaking it any time soon. You should check them out, there's something for everyone.

 Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer  My go to concealer and for around £4 you can't go wrong, it also seems that its also a lot of other peoples favourite as I can almost never find my colour in any store. Literal gold dust this stuff. But one day I realised my local Superdrug were putting out a collection delivery as I walked in, then I bought as many as I could in my shade for my sister and I. It's long lasting, easy to blend and doesn't crack. Win.

Estee Lauder - Pure Colour Love - Proven Innocent  Now this product resulted in me putting myself on a spending band. While in London an ad popped up on my twitter feed for this exact lipstick, twenty minutes later I was in Harrods buying it. It is the most perfect Spring / Summer shade though, so it'll get a lot of wear.

So that's Aprils round up, anything in there you have or want to try?
