L'Oréal Pure Clay Mask

Wednesday 2 November 2016

Let's talk about L'Oréal Pure Clay Mask collection. When they first came out I was only able to get hold of the Detox Mask. Which I have to say I'm a big fan of it. I've found with shift work, specially night shifts, my skin just goes on a rampage and breaks out everywhere. Real fucking annoying.

So I finally managed to get hold of all 3 clay mask, hurried on home and chucked them all on my face. My face is thanking me FYI. There's the Purity, Detox and Glow masks, you can choose to use just the one mask over your whole face, or mix it up and pop a bit of each in the area's your face is in need. Each tub is 50ml which should be about 10 applications. They are tested under dermatological control, each mask has different benefits.

The 3 clays used in all 3 masks are; koalin- A natural clay, absorbs impurities and excess sebum. Montmorillonite- Rich in minerals and helps eliminate imperfections. Ghassoul- Pure clay renowned to help clarify complexion.

What to expect from the masks.
Purity Mask- with Eucalyptus- Skin is fresh clean and purified after first use. After one week skin appears cleaner softer and mattified. Continuous use your skin is visibly transformed.

Detox Mask- with Charcoal- Skin is purer and clearer after one use. One week of use your skin should feel fresher and luminous. Continuous use your skin can breath and is transformed.

Glow Mask- with Red AlgaeSkin should appear softer smoother and brighter after first use. After one week pores feel tighter  and skin texture is refined. Use after use skin appears with an even healthy glow.

Well, that's what the boxes say. The only mask I have used time and time again is the Detox one, honestly it has helped my skin when I've had break outs and it's not been looking it's best. It hasn't magically transformed my skin but it is most definitely looking better.
I've only used Purity and Glow once, and my skin is actually looking rather lovely after having all 3 on for around 10 minutes. All 3 are pretty heavily fragranced  but I don't seem to notice it while it's on my skin.
All in all, I'm a fan and will continue to use these little beauts.
Have you tried any?

  1. These look amazing. I have quite sensitive skin though so concerned about the fragrance. Will probably give them a go though (skin test first!) as my skin has been really spotty and dull lately. Also a really nice idea for a stocking filler for my mum for Christmas!
